Pom pom crab (Lybia sp.).

These tiny crabs can fit on a 2p coin (a bit bigger than a quarter). These miniature cheerleaders get their name from the two tiny pom poms on their front claws. These pom poms are in fact tiny anemones just 3mm (1/8th of an inch) across. They carry these pet anemones around with them everywhere they go. The anemones have several uses. They can wave the sticky anemones in the air to catch tiny pieces of food they drift past. They can also use them like boxing gloves to treat their miniature enemies with a face full of stinging anemones. Kapow!! Or they can use them to do cheerleader style dances to attract mates, or as a threat display like a nano sized All Blacks Haka. An absolutely fantastic addition to a reef aquarium, and possibly the greatest cabaret show it's possible to fit onto a stage the size of a thumbnail.

From half an inch to upto 1”.

COMPATIBILITY
Reef safe. They can be kept singly, or in groups. As with all small creatures, large fish may try to eat them.
