Lavender tang (Acanthurus nigrofuscus).

Suitable for tanks of 1,000 litres or more.

One of the smaller and less aggressive of the Acanthurus species. As with most Acanthurus tangs lots of space, regular frequent feeds, and lots of flow in the aquarium, are all recommended.

SIZE

Available in a variety of sizes, may eventually reach 10” or a little more.

COMPATIBILITY

Avoid housing with aggressive tangs such as most other Acanthurus species, or aggressive Zebrasoma species such as the Yellow tang (Zebrasoma flavescens), or the Sailfin tangs.
