Snowflake moray eel (Echidna nebulosa).

Snowflake morays are a medium sized moray eel species. They are a good choice of moray for those new to keeping eels, as they do not grow particularly large, are fairly docile, and get on well with almost all other medium and large fish. With all eels an escape proof tight fitting lid is essential. Moray eels may bite, so do not hand feed, and keep hands a safe distance from the Moray at all times.

SIZE

May grow up to 24”, exceptionally large specimens may reach 36”.

COMPATIBILITY

Safe with all corals. May eat inverts. Morays may eat small fish. All Morays are capable of inflicting a bite if threatened or starving.
