New streamlined product range now in place

All items online will now be faster delivery!

To speed up delivery going forward I’ve taken offline large chunks of our product ranges. This does mean there is a massively reduced range of items now available, but, it will mean faster delivery times on all new orders going forward. I’ll switch some items back on once we’ve caught up on orders.

Here is a list of what is now available for each section by category:

Packs

ECOSYSTEM - reef seeds coral packs - All 45 are available.

ECOSYSTEM - other ECOSYSTEM packs - reduced from 54 to 26.

Corals of the world packs - reduced from 14 to 9.

El Presidente Coral Collezione packs - reduced from 8 to 6.

Lucky Dip! & Value range - reduced from 28 to 13.

Other packs - reduced from 14 to just 1 pack.

Individual corals

WYSIWYG - unaffected 106 available.

SPS - reduced from 50 to 27.

LPS - Out of the 328 types of LPS online, I’ve limited it down to just 5. I’ll switch more on as we catch up on orders.

Soft corals

We do actually farm 80+ types of Mushrooms, 80+ types of Zoas & Palys, and 40+ types of other corals in store, but, as most of these sell well as WYSIWYG’s (especially Zoas) I’ve heavily restricted the main listings for them.

Zoas & Palys - We mostly sell these as WYSIWYG’s these days so all 189 types taken offline.

Mushrooms - Out of 157 types reduced to 35 types.

Other soft corals - Out of 76 types reduced to just 31.

This reduces our standard ranges of soft corals down from 422 types to just 66 types for the time being, although many more are available in the WYSIWYG’s.

Inverts

All 256 species/types of inverts taken offline completely, even ones where I know we have spare ones in stock, until we’ve caught up on invert orders.

Fish

All 259 fish species were already offline, and are staying offline.

Other products

Of 49 other products, these have been reduced to 18.

Overall

Out of a total product range of 1,527 species/types (not including all the different size options, or, all the WYSIWYG’s) this is now reduced down to a core range of 216 types. This does restrict choice somewhat, but, general feedback was that people wanted faster delivery as a higher priority than range of things available. As we catch up on orders I’ll switch some things back on, but, going forward I think we’ll stick to a much smaller range of items available, so that orders can be sent out more quickly.

Further pruning

Currently we have 163 packs in total, of which 100 are currently available. I’m going to design a new smaller range of packs to replace all of these, reducing it down from 163 to around 40 packs, mostly these new packs will be in the £99 to £399 range as these tend to be the most popular ones, and we’ll bring in some larger packs going all the way up to £999, as we’ve had quite a few requests for packs at £500+.

I’m going to remove about 90% of the packs that are under £99, within the next week or two. If there are any packs under £99 you had your eye on then probably best to try and grab them quick! :D

Finally

I know some of you will be a little disappointed at the ranges being trimmed, but, overall the majority view was that they wanted anything on slower delivery removed entirely. I will add some things back on once we’ve caught up on orders, but, I’m going to restrict the variety considerably so we can have more stock of each item. For a lot of coral types, I’ll mostly just list them as WYSIWYG’s as we harvest them from the farm.

If there is something you are interested in that is currently offline, then let me know and I’ll see if I can switch it on or not. Although this will only apply to corals, as inverts are staying offline until we catch up, and fish are staying offline totally.
