These are great fish for algae control, and I wanted a load of baby ones for myself for the new coral bays etc. I can get a better price on them in bulk, so I’m ordering 300 of them and then doing this special offer on some of them for today and this weekend only, and then however many are left spare I’ll put in my new coral bays.

They’re not a particularly quick growing species, and as they grow you can either reduce the size of the shoal, or, of course just get a bigger tank! A single baby one is quite happy in a 100L tank for a year or so, in a 200L tank you can add 3-6 baby ones, in a 500L tank you can easily house 12-24 for the first year.

An absolutely fantastic reef safe grazing fish, with their long nose enabling them to reach algae even if it’s hidden in little cracks or crevices. Their tall and narrow body shape also allows them to reach places such as behind pipework, rocks, or heaters etc, where even snails and hermits struggle to reach.

Highly recommended.

I’ll let around 200 go, and then keep the rest. They’ll probably sell out fairly fast at these prices, especially with people snapping them up 12 or 24 at a time.
