Blue lobster (Panulirus vesicolor).
This species of lobster can grow very large in time. However, they have tiny claws for their size and are peaceful scavengers. They do like a nice sized cave to rest in during the day. They spend most of the day at the entrance of their cave, with their large creamy white antenna waving around in the water. They are a spectacular animal, and a real centrepiece for the larger reef aquarium.

SIZE
Usually 2” to 4”, may reach 12” in time.

COMPATIBILITY
Reef safe with all corals. Large lobsters may prey on very tiny inverts, but, are generally safe with most other reef inhabitants. Some fish such as Puffers and Triggers etc may try to eat them.
