WARNING!
This is fast and aggressive predator that requires it’s own aquarium. It is capable of inflicting nasty wounds on the unwary aquarist. Tales of broken fingers, slashed hands, and smashing glass tanks made of 6mm or thinner glass, are not uncommon. Only suitable for aquarists with previous experience of keeping dangerous animals, such as venomous snakes etc.

Golden mantis (Odontodactylus sp.).
Although similar looking to shrimps it is in fact a species of Stomatopod. It is a highly efficient, fast, and aggressive predator requiring it’s own species aquarium.

COMPATIBILITY
Requires it’s own aquarium, preferably with 10mm or thicker glass. A secure lid to prevent access by other people and pets is recommended. May inflict serious damage on the aquarist.
