Red Claw Shrimp (Cuapetes tenuipes).
An extremely unusual small reef safe shrimp. Only very rarely available.
SIZE
At full size the body is 1” to 2”, with front arms as long as an extra 3”. The claws are tiny, even on full size specimens, so they are no danger to other reef tank inhabitants. They feed by grabbing tiny bits of food that drift past in the water, and picking through the surface of the sand. Highly sought after by serious shrimp enthusiasts.
COMPATIBILITY
Reef safe, no threat to other reef inhabitants. As with all small creatures, large fish may try to eat them.
