Sally lightfoot crab (Percnon gibbesi).

These crabs resemble a spider. They are however harmless. Their tiny claws are really only useful for grazing algae. They are excellent grazers, and will also scavenge little bits of flake or frozen food too if they find any. In the wild their main diet is Hair algae, and they are particularly good at eating large amounts of it.

SIZE
They vary in size across the legs from 2” to 3” usually. They can reach almost 5” across, although most of that is their long spindly legs.

COMPATIBILITY
Reef safe. They can be kept singly, or in groups. Some fish such as Puffers and Triggers etc may try to eat them.
