Saffron goby (Gobiodon citrinus).

These are one of the larger members of the coral goby. They can be kept individually, but, are far more entertaining in pairs and groups. They may pick on smaller species of coral gobies, but, they get on well with almost all other small and medium reef fishes. They are a great addition to a reef aquarium.

COMPATIBILITY

Safe with all soft and LPS corals. Breeding pairs may cause minor damage to branches of SPS coral if clearing a site to lay eggs, but, the damage is minimal. Safe with almost all commonly kept reef inverts. Large fish and some large inverts may try to eat them. Safe with almost all small and medium sized reef fish, except smaller species of Goby.
