Yellow Banded Possum Wrasse (Wetmorella nigropinnata).

A charming species of pygmy wrasse. A much loved addition to any reef aquarium, often ending up being the hobbyists favourite fish in their tank.

SIZE

They are generally 1” to 2”, some specimens may eventually reach just over 2”.

COMPATIBILITY

Reef safe. Can be kept singly, or, in pairs or groups of it’s own kind. Suitable for tanks from 50 litres upwards. They can be a little shy and so plenty of rocks to swim amongst is recommended. We recommend feeding a minimum of twice per day on suitable frozen food. Some small reef fish can jump from an open topped aquarium, we recommend using a tight fitting lid with no gaps.
