Truncatus tang (Ctenochaetus truncatus) juvenile.

Suitable for tanks of 500 litres or more.

Also knows as a Whitetail Tang. One of the larger species of Bristletooth Tangs.

SIZE

Usually imported as 1” juveniles. In the wild they can reach 10”, but, in captivity rarely grow larger than 6”.

COMPATIBILITY

Reef safe. Generally mixes well with other species of Tangs, and other small and medium reef fish, but, cannot be kept with others of it’s own species except in very large tanks.
