What are VIP ranks?

Most of you will probably know how this works, but, if you are new then you might not do. So here’s a brief explanation.

There are 4 ranks for VIP customers:

VIP the starting rank.
El Capitan - Only about 80 ish people out of 4,000+ customers have this rank.
⭐La Generale⭐ - Only about 40 people have this rank.
🐪Padre De Camellos🐪 - (literally: Father of camels, someone of high status or great importance). Only about 15 people have this rank.

What do you get at the various ranks?

VIP customers get a code for 5% off all orders that month, T&C apply*
El Capitan - Get 10% off all orders for 2024, and free delivery on all orders.*
⭐La Generale⭐ - Get 15% off all orders for 2024, and free delivery too.*
🐪Padre De Camellos🐪 -Get 20% off all orders for 2024, and free delivery too.*

Discount code must be used at checkout to qualify, it cannot be added later because it causes chaos with my VAT returns! It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, we don’t run many % off offers, and if we do they tend to mostly be VIP only, and mostly be for more than 20% anyway.

In addition we sometimes run extra special offers for VIP’s only, sometimes for all VIP’s, and sometimes only for the top 1, 2, or 3, ranks. Such as:

VIP Monday

Sometimes we run a special offer on Monday’s for all VIP’s usually about 6-8 times a year.

Your VIP price!

These are special VIP only introductory offers. Usually they run for 24 hours only, or, are limited to a maximum number of people that can claim the offer.

VIP 1st pick!

When we get something new in that is likely to be very popular, and may sell out quite quickly, we give VIP’s 1st pick of the new items before releasing them on general sale. Sometimes this also applies to limited number offers too.

Other VIP perks

We sometimes run other VIP perks too, such as VIP only competitions, free prize giveaways, etc. When we do this I generally put this graphic up on Facebook so that you know there is an email coming out with a special offer in it for VIP’s only.

How do I gain a VIP rank?

I only promote a very small number of people each month. It’s based on various factors such as:

People that have helped me out either in store or online in some way.
People that have been a customer a long time.
People that have ordered regularly (size of order doesn’t matter, just how often they order).
People that are just always exceptionally nice to deal with. Most people are pretty nice, so you do have to really stand out to gain one this way.
Special circumstances - If someone I have known for a long time is going through a particularly tough time in life, then sometimes they gain a rank to cheer them up a bit. Not many are given out for this reason, only a couple a year.
Occasionally someone gets a promotion if they buy a lot of stuff in one go (usually it takes several thousand pounds of spend to gain a rank this way, most ranks are won by the other factors).

Never mind all that, have I gained a rank!

Normally I only promote 3 or 4 people a month out of 4,000+ customers, so don’t feel left out if you haven’t gained a rank, promotions are exceptionally rare. This month there are a few extra ones as it’s Christmas.*

*Or would have been Christmas if I’d done it on time! (James - never knowingly on time).
