Clownfish are very popular, and are easy to keep making them the ideal beginner fish. Clownfish are best kept in pairs, and the best way to do this is by buying two that have already paired up. Clownfish love living in pairs, but, do not like sharing the aquarium with other clownfish. In aquariums under 8 feet long you should only keep one pair of clownfish. Do not add a pair of clownfish to a tank already containing clownfish.
CLOWNFISH SIZE
Available in a choice of sizes. One of the larghest Clownfish species. females up to 8”, males up to 3”. We recommend feeding a minimum of twice per day on suitable frozen food.
CLOWNFISH COMPATIBILITY
One of the larger and more aggressive Clownfish species. Best kept with other large boistrous fish. Usually kept as single females, although they can be kept as pairs the femaloe Maroon Clown will often kill the much smaller males. Safe with almost all corals. They may bother some LPS corals if they do not have a suitable anemone to call home.
