White dwarf moray eel (Pseudechidna brummeri).

White dwarf morays are a dwarf moray eel species. They get on well with almost all other fish, and care only needs to be taken with very small thin fish such as small Gobies etc.. With all eels an escape proof tight fitting lid is essential. Moray eels may bite, so do not hand feed, and keep hands a safe distance from the Moray at all times. They prefer to eat small foods such as defrosted Mysis and Brine shrimp.

SIZE

Typically 12” to 20” from pencil thick to little finger thickness. Exceptionally large specimens may grow up to 24”, and a little thicker than a little finger, although this is still very small for a Moray eel.

COMPATIBILITY

Safe with all corals. May eat inverts. Morays may eat small fish. All Morays are capable of inflicting a bite if threatened or starving. An ideal first Moray eel. Generally very docile, easy to feed and easy to keep.
