One of the easiest Butterflyfish to keep. Feed on frozen mysis and frozen clams.

SIZE

Typically 2” to 4”, may reach up to 6” or more.

COMPATIBILITY

Will eat LPS, may nip at soft corals and SPS. Generally safe with leather corals, star polyps, and, mushrooms. Will eat clams, tubeworms, and may eat other inverts. Safe with small reef fish all the way up to bigger fish such as Triggerfish and Groupers, however, may be bullied by Tangs. Do not house with Zebrasoma tangs (Yellow tang, Purple Tang, Black Tang, Gem Tang, and Scopas Tang), or, Moorish Idols (Zanclus cornutus), as these will bully a Longnose Butterfly.
