Teardrop butterflyfish (Chaetodon unimaculatus).

IMPORTANT: Please note you must not add a Teardrop butterfly to a tank that contains Tangs, Moorish Idols, Foxfaces, or Bannerfish, because the Butterflyfish may be attacked, or, may hide and starve. An easy to keep and attractive Butterflyfish species. They are quite gentle fish and so avoid housing with aggressive species.

SIZE

Typically 2” to 3”, may reach up to 4” or more.

COMPATIBILITY

May nip at some corals, may nip at some inverts. Peaceful. Easy to keep (see above). Avoid housing with aggressive species.
